Villiger at Suisse Public 2026 in Bern

Focus on modern waste management solutions and smart waste collection technology

We have had four days packed with interesting discussions and stimulating exchanges. From 16 June to 19 June 2026, Villiger Entsorgungssysteme AG was once again present at Suisse Public – the leading trade fair for the public sector in the Swiss capital.

In Hall 2.2, at Stand D 10, Villiger showcased its innovative underground, semi-underground and above-ground systems for modern waste disposal and recycling collection. In addition, intelligent emptying technology and modern vehicle solutions were presented. Unlike at IFAT 2026 in Munich, however, these could not be demonstrated live at the stand. Another key topic was the integrated safety platform ‘Sub-Safety’ for semi-underfloor systems.

Back again: the Prix SVC Aargau Solothurn 2026

As had already been the case at IFAT, winning the first Prix SVC Aargau Solothurn 2026 was a hot topic of conversation in Bern too. The prestigious award for innovative SMEs in Switzerland was presented to Villiger in May 2026.

We have already reported on the award in our news section: Villiger Entsorgungssysteme AG from Oberrüti wins the first Prix SVC Aargau Solothurn 2026.

“In Bern, too, the award proved a real crowd-puller and served as a starting point for numerous interesting discussions,” said Paul Villiger, founder, owner and CEO of Villiger Entsorgungssysteme AG.

1:1 scale model of the Quadromat

Anyone who has seen the Quadromat – our underground collection system with the largest waste capacity and an integrated compaction station – in action is bound to be impressed. However, the 1:1 scale model on display also demonstrated the system’s advantages impressively.

With a capacity ranging from 10 m³ to 22 m³ and integrated compaction reducing the volume to as little as one third of its original size, the Quadromat offers maximum capacity in a minimum of space. Furthermore, the system can be flexibly expanded: in addition to the main container with the compaction press, additional bins for other recyclable materials can be integrated – all within the same system.

A big thank you to all our visitors

Suisse Public 2026 was a resounding success for Villiger and a valuable opportunity to engage with long-standing partners, customers and prospective clients.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all visitors for the inspiring encounters, the professional exchange of ideas and the continued keen interest in our solutions. We are already looking forward to the next steps we will take together towards smarter, safer and more sustainable waste management systems.
