The initial situation
Lucerne has a state-of-the-art and architecturally outstanding football stadium on the Allmend. The waste management company of the city of Lucerne has been looking for a solution so that the residents of the building complex can dispose of their fee bag at any time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The solution
With the installation of a Quadromat system from Villiger, the permanent possibility to dispose of the fee bags is now guaranteed. In addition, the City of Lucerne can also professionally remove waste from the public area with its small collection vehicles. This means that commercial customers and residents can dispose of their waste in one system.
A Quadromat lift system replaces around 80 to 100 conventional wheelie bins and relieves caretakers of additional tasks such as providing wheelie bins. This results in many fewer disposal trips, which significantly lowers disposal costs and significantly reduces CO2 emissions by cutting the number of trips made by small collection vehicles.
