The starting point
Walchwil wanted to modernise waste disposal in the village centre, reduce the space required and improve the appearance of the collection points. The previous systems were visible, detracted from the townscape and offered insufficient capacity for peak times. At the same time, the canton of Zug pursued the goal of further expanding the uniform ZEBA infrastructure.
The solution
Villiger installed three underground systems that blend harmoniously into the townscape and offer high collection capacity in a small space. With its commissioning, the 500th ZEBA container was realised in the canton of Zug. Today, the community benefits from a clean, quiet and efficient waste disposal point that simplifies operations and significantly enhances the surrounding area.
