The starting point
Until now, the container in the shaft had to be lifted out with a crane every time it was emptied. This resulted in high costs, closures and security risks. A permanent technical solution was required.
The solution
Villiger worked with API Technics AG to install a robust scissor lift in the existing shaft, which raises and lowers the container in a controlled manner. In combination with a disposal column, this resulted in a compact and simple underfloor system. Crane work is no longer required. Today, the operator empties bins safely, quickly and without encroaching on the road space. Maintenance and operation have become more efficient and significantly safer.
