The starting point
Bochum wanted to centralise waste disposal and reduce traffic congestion. The previous systems were overfilled and aesthetically unattractive. The goal was to create a robust, scalable and durable solution.
The solution
In 2018, Villiger installed type 730 underground systems and type 800 above-ground systems. Since the end of 2018, the systems have been emptied regularly by five municipal vehicles. The systems run reliably, offer high collection capacity and significantly reduce logistical effort.
