The starting point
The city centre is very busy, touristy and has restricted access for vehicles. Early morning collections caused noise and disruption. The aim was to find an emission-free and manoeuvrable solution.
The solution
Villiger supplied an ILA electric truck with a compact design and optimised steering geometry. The vehicle empties underground systems without significantly disrupting pedestrian traffic. Integration into daily operations went smoothly – the city now benefits from quiet and sustainable waste disposal.
